Paul McComas, a resident of Spencer, Tennessee, reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, after being involved in a “bad” accident.
McComas, sadly, passed away as a result of his injuries sustained in the collision.

The death of Young from natural causes occurred on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, following a brief battle with COVID.
As a modern American poet, Young followed in the footsteps of such luminaries as John Ashbery, Frank O’Hara, and Kenneth Koch. Poets like André Breton, Paul Éluard, and the other French Surrealists had a significant impact on Young, who is often considered a second-generation New York School poet.
He went to Indiana University and graduated with an MFA. In 2008, Young was appointed to the William Livingston Chair of Poetry at the Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas in Austin.
His newest works include Fall Higher and The Art of Recklessness as well as Bender: New and Selected Poems.
For his poem “Strike Anywhere,” Young received the Colorado Prize for Poetry, a Stegner Fellowship from Stanford University, and fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation (2002), the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Since 1993, his poetry has been repeatedly featured in The Best American Poetry.
In 2014, he served as the Poet Laureate of Texas.
