Charles Wade Barkley is a former professional basketball player in the United States who is an analyst with Inside the NBA. Nicknamed "Sir Charles" and "The Vortex of Recovery", Barkley has established himself as one of the National Basketball Association's greatest strikers of all time. Barkley won an NBA All-Star title 11 times, a member of the All-NBA Team and the NBA's Most Valuable Player in 1993. All-powerful American forward at Auburn University, he was included in the Philadelphia 76ers kids' team with a fifth pick in the NBA Draft. Barkley has been selected as a member of Team One. The NBA in 1985. During the 1986-1987 season, Barkley led the league with the highest rebound average and won his first NBA rebound title. He was selected as the NBA All-Star Game MVP in 1991. In 1993 with the Phoenix Suns, he was voted best player of the tournament and, on the 50th anniversary of the NBA, was named one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history.
